Winter 2019 Newsletter
Bothwell Bowling Club December 2019 Newsletter
Dear Members
Newsletter from President Marion To All Members
May I wish all members and their families a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
I should like take this opportunity of reminding Members of some of the events which have taken place and are planned for the near future.
First of all, I should like to congratulate the Coaching Team who have completed Bowling Workshops and modules at St Bride’s school, Bothwell. This was included in the school curriculum and the pupils sat a test and received certificates. This was an excellent programme carried out in a professional manner which was very much enjoyed by the pupils. It is planned to hold similar sessions at Bothwell Primary School in the next school session.
I should also like to congratulate Pauline McKnight and all her helpers who raised the magnificent sum of £2020 for St Andrews Hospice at the Sparkle Event held recently in the Club.
